After comparing two equivalent products from both brands, it is clearly visible that the difference between qualities is very nominal. It is quite hard to discern the differences in the naked eye. But is it the truth all the time?

Until you take the real taste, you cannot declare one particular brand as the owner. The following section contains our opinion according to the experience our riders have gathered while examining both brands.

Our opinion

We define quality according to the amount of abuse a particular bike can withstand.  Which one do you think can withstand more abuse?

Engine

First of all, if we talk about the pit bike engine variants, there are no differences between the two brands. In some cases, the Apollo may claim to deliver more rpm than SSR on the paper. But, we have found that the SSR 125cc can deliver up to 7500rpm, whereas the Apollo will reach nearly 7700 rpm at max.

Stability

Second of all, both Apollo pit bike and SSR bring steel-made frames to ensure stability. We have also found no differences in the frame. Both brands will get the same point in this aspect of the presentation.

Comfort

The biggest difference we found is in comfort and stability. After speculating on both bikes a couple of times, it is noticeable that SSR pit bikes are more comfortable than Apollo pit bikes. The perfect seat height, appropriate ground clearance, and premium wheel short and big construction should be the essential reason for the optimum experience.

Sound output

A drawback you may face while riding an SSR pit bike is the sound output.  The SSR pit bikes are a little noisier than the Apollo pit bikes. But we have not tested all the bikes from SSR. Some of the bikes from SSR may also provide some different results.

Budget

We all know that the price is one of the most influential aspects while purchasing a particular item. We need to say that the SSR pit bike tends to come with an expensive price range than the Apollo pit bikes. There are some valid reasons behind the pricing. If you consider the quality and service you would get from SSR, it is worth spending some extra bucks on the bike. You may have to spend some extra 100 to 200 dollars to buy an equivalent SSR pit bike.

Reliability

Now comes the final part regarding the reliability. Both SSR and Apollo fall in the category of Chinese pit bike. You have to spend nearly 1400$ bucks to grab a 125cc pit bike from both these two brands.  When it is about marking one brand in terms of reliability, our team will keep SSR a little ahead of Apollo. Never mind if you are using an Apollo bike.

Apollo bikes are also good, but you will always notice that people love SSR pit bikes because of their high sustainability.

Longevity

It is quite impossible to use a pit bike for more than 2 years without making any sort of upgrades. It does not matter whether you are choosing a pit bike from Apollo or SSR; you have to think about making some upgrades to retain the sustainability after one to two years.

Which brand is the winner?

We have already mentioned that both brands bring the equivalent product on the market. If the SSR 125cc is performing better as per your experience, the Apollo 150cc can be better according to someone else. That is why it is always a hard comparison. But if you consider the performance and comfort zone, the SSR should stay a little ahead of Apollo.

Final words

Comparison always makes the situation worst. The experience may vary from a different perspective. Although we are keeping SSR a little ahead in this article, it is not altogether impossible to get better performance with an Apollo pit bike.
